The rain falls on the wicked as it falls upon the good The righteous lie in judgement their tormentors have withstood Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan I'll place them in their safety and take them as My own For I am with you everywhere Through dark and despair the depth of our soul is laid bare Though pitfall and snare the light of the world is still there The world we share is troubled as it has always been By nightfall it has doubled seems evil gets the win But what He whispers in our pleasure He shouts to us in our pain He will guard us for forever and forever is our gain For I am with you everywhere Through dark and despair the depth of our soul is laid bare Though pitfall and snare the light of the world is still there The righteous will say, "Through these tests we trod" The scoffer asks, "How can a loving God Allow the evil that smites the innocent Destroying our culture while scorching the earth" Through dark and despair the depth of our soul is laid bare Though pitfall and snare the light of the world is still there

Waiting on a pinnacle, passing moments lost in time Hashing out my memories, my consciousness is so sublime Ticking into past tense, my wandering mind lets me go Back into my safety net, back to things I used to know There’s a fine line between now and then, it’s a fine line we should know There’s a coming to the if and when, there’s a coming time to go My time to go Yeah, my time to go The record rotates smoothly while the stylus tracks the groove Vibration creates energy and those electrons start to move The arm moves to the center as the music moves along The collection seeks completion as it moves from song to song The sound surrounds its maker, these sounds surround their source They move on toward their taker, their moving runs its course It runs its course Time, time from time Time from time The straight line From its source Forward course No going back Waiting on a pinnacle, my life’s seconds ticking by The breaths I take forever gone, these same breaths breathe a sigh Decisions past have brought me here and I will carry on To this life I’m promised when this life is good as gone There’s a fine line between now and then, it’s a fine line we should know There’s a coming to the if and when, it’s a coming time to go My time to go There’s a fine line between now and then, it’s a fine line we should know There’s a coming to the if and when, it’s a coming time to go Your time to go Your time to go My time to go

Open your eyes Let in the light that springs from a brand new day And you realize Words can't express the things that you want to say The sun begins its arc as it moves from the horizon The gentle breezes rise and blow the mist away Light replaces dark and withoput compromisin' We introduce ourselves to a brand new day Yeah, welcome to a brand new day The chill in the air Stirs a memory that you thought was lost With no time to spare You seize upon a life worth lived above all cost The day comes alive in the fullness of its glory My shadow shrinks and hides from from the zenith sun The noontime will arive and pass on into the story The story that unfolds in this brand new day So welcome to the story of this brand new day We're not given to tomorrow No worth in counting of our days Nor is there time for us to borrow Past moments lost along life's ways What we see is so much less than what there is And so much more than we can ever grasp

How can they be so influential? These wolves in sheep's clothing that prey on the poor From pulpits of gold so essential, in palaces large they plead from us more! Whipping up a raptured congregation with promises beyond their dreams so wild Pilfering the innocent young mother of means which could be used to feed her child Deceiving through a gospel warped to their design Fleecing all the gullible to take all they consign Their message as slick as the package, it rolls off the tongue to tickle one's ears Twisting an inspired teaching, the end result hidden not as it appears Enticing with a message full of riches for autos and fine homes in which to live And jets to fly them off to third world countries to promise new life only if they give Riches stored in heaven compared to those on earth Will be there forever with ensured eternal worth

Troll 04:54
Unlike you and me we've got these people, you see, they could be anyone you see on the street But chances are, night or day, if they’d have their way, they’d just sit in the dark and sulk in their seat Twisting your words they suck you right into a debate you can't win With every turn they aim for your pride ignoring facts on your side Why does it always come down to this? Words appear on the screen typed by someone unseen, y'can't tell if it's a her or a him Seems they sit there all day with a whole lot to say hiding behind a catchy pseudonym Then out of the blue they throw you a curve that's strikes the wrong nerve Quick to respond, you catch a quick breath before you battle to death Why does it always come down to this? It's a lesson well learned maybe you should have spurned the advances made by your little troll It's not really a sin that you thought you could win after all you seemed to be on a roll Fooled once again, you gave your best shot, you thought you were hot How could you know the hours you’d waste with Joe Cut-and-Paste Like it or not time wasn't well spent but you thought you could vent Maybe next time you could even the score by trolling some more Why does it always come down to this?

Far Away 13:56
I. Discovery Is there any reason to wonder To voice what my soul longs to say From You did I so freely wander And find myself so far away The rift that’s become my own doing Has pushed my storm out to sea Now I find I’m pursuing To fill the void left in me Lightness of being so attractive The goal I have sought from the start Wanting just to be is my end game Yet heaviness tugs at my heart Why is it that I aspire To have all things my own way Knowing full well Your desire To fill my heart – but, not today II. Defiance I fill my days with pleasure I fill my days with toys To drown out Your voice when you call me I fill my days with noise With shoulders back I defy You And rely on my own strength In order to avoid your company I keep You at arm’s length This my life! This my world! My dominion, my home This my life! This my world! Sitting high here on my throne The hours I fill with wordplay The phrases make no sense Yet in my mind I’m invincible As you pull me off my fence I jump right back up and defy You Your life in me pulled apart Expressing the will You bestowed on me I unknowingly break Your heart This my life! This my world! My dominion, my home This my life! This my world! Sitting high here on my throne III. Defeat Is this freedom that I'm after Is this freedom found within Could it have led to my disaster Could it have caused my life's chagrin I now have motives that I'm seeking I now seek with a clearer mind

about

I Fill My Days With Noise is the third album of soaring, majestic, symphonic progressive rock by multi instrumentalist, Doug Bowers aka KDB3 . Musically, Doug takes the listener on a journey using interesting segues, time signatures, and melodic transitions with lush soundscapes and well thought out instrumentation. Lyrically, one will find truthfulness, humor and an attitude that is sometimes brashly soul searching. The album also features an international variety of guest guitarists providing the heavy hitting that makes this album stand out in the genre.
